Pastor Bruce Gruver
Pastor Bruce Gruver, a native Texan, was born in Coleman, Texas and grew up in the Houston area. Bruce received a BS in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and a M. Ed (Music) from Texas State University.
Musical opportunities have included traveling professionally as a keyboardist, session work in Nashville, TN, employment at Gospel Publishing House, Springfield, MO as a music editor, and adjunct music staff at International Correspondence Institute, Irving, TX.
Educational opportunities have included teaching in Texas public schools, vocational college, and university classes, in addition to Sunday School and Adult Bible Classes.
Pastoral experiences have included serving as pastor/associate pastor for churches in Texas and Michigan. He is currently an ordained minister through World Ministry Fellowship, Parker, TX. having been previously credentialed with the Assemblies of God, Springfield, MO.
Upon the death of Rev. Bill Caffey (founding pastor of Cornerstone Family Church) in June, 2015, Pastor Bruce was asked to serve as part-time pastor and praise leader, having helped Pastor Bill previously in preaching and music assistance. He became full-time pastor and praise team leader on December 1, 2016.
